Billy has been with CLS for the last few years helping us to keep our wonderful staff safe and in good health. He continues to enable CLS to meet and exceed its obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and other safety regulations. As well as undertaking his Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and an associate member of NZISM, Billy comes from a background of logistics and food services and has a degree in Biological Sciences from Edinburgh University. Billy has also volunteered for St Johns Ambulance, LifeLine, and Broken River Skifield.
Outside of work, Billy spends as much time as he can outdoors. Originally from South London, England, he moved to access the wilds as soon as he could, first to Scotland, and finally New Zealand. Starting kiwi life in Queenstown fuelled plenty of adventures, that continues as he grows his young family in Canterbury – alongside his wife, they are now up to two daughters, a dog, a cat, 3 chickens, fruit trees and veggie gardens, all hidden away in the foothills of the Southern Alps. Somehow Billy fits this alongside climbing, biking, snowboarding/split-boarding, running, kayaking, and training for the Coast to Coast.
